Retired old fart, X-North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission Master Officer and Pilot in younger days for 13 years. Last 20 years spent as a MCSE and CCNA IT analyst for a large, global, pharmaceutical that is in very much hot water, at the moment, not surprisingly, as an IT analyst, specializing in Disaster Recovery, SMTP email, including Microsoft Exchange server, Microsoft Back Office suite, SMTP gateways. Security specialist in IDS, IPS, Cisco ASA firewalls, host and network based IPS, network anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-malware, you name it, I can probably do it. Now free for the first time in my life from 24x7x365 on-call support. Life is good now. But I still do some consulting for cash and do a lot volunteering my life's worth of education and experience to many. I freely give my spare time to support local animal shelters, seniors citizens who need help setting up Skype to put their grandkids to sleep at night. I get much needed, warm hugs from them. I also give freely to our vets and X-law enforcement community as well as other public, underpaid, service providers. It is nice to be able to give back to my community after working 60 hour weeks for most of my life. I missed out on a lot. But, trying to make up for it now.
