Here's a cool effect from our friends over at donationcoder.com: Transother.  What does it do?  Simple.  Make all windows but the active one transparent.

Minimother

Like Transother, Minimother is meant to make browsing more accessible and easier to perform.  It endlessly minimizes all windows except the active one.
