Wireshark

Similar to OINK for Linux, Wireshark is a network protocol analyzer, and is the de facto (and often de jure) standard across many industries and educational institutions. It will tell you who (IP address) is connected to your PC and what is happening in real time. Wireshark has a rich feature set which includes deep inspection of protocols, live capture, and offline analysis. Click here for a screenshot.

Easy Whiteboard

Easy Whiteboard is software used to emulate a computer whiteboard. It lets the user draw basic forms and objects on the whole computer screen making it an ideal tool during presentations, video conferences or other kinds of meetings where the computer monitor is being shown. The computer whiteboard software is only available in German, but is completely icon-driven -- meaning many users shouldn't notice.
