View Animated GIFs in MS Outlook 2007

MS Outlook 2007 does not animate GIFs (graphic files) in your email messages. Instead, it displays the first frame of the GIF only. In order to see the animated GIF it is necessary to open your HTML message in your browser to view the animation.

Follow the steps below to learn how:

• Open the message.  
   
• Click the Other Actions button in the Action group.  
   
• From the submenu, select View in Browser.

Use Views in your browser to view any HTML message that does not display correctly in MS Outlook.  You can also use it when you would like to print a message and get better options towards that task than what MS Outlook's print option offers.
