Sandboxie helps to protect your operating system by running specific programs in an isolated space. For example, sandboxie would isolate a newly-installed program from having access to making changes to other programs and data in your computer. If you do a lot of downloading and want to try out a program and don't want it to make changes to your system, sandboxie is what you need.
